Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) is the implementing agency for Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. The objective of the scheme is to make available quality generic medicines at affordable prices to all.

PMBI is expanding it’s operations and has urgent requirement on various positions. Walk-in-Interviews for such positions shall be held as follows.

Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H), is a subordinate office under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.Development of Pharmacopoeias and Formularies as well as acting as Central Drug Testing cum Appellate Laboratory for Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy are the key fields of activity of PCIM&H.

The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) had been set up in 1992. NIB is an apex autonomous institute under the administrative control of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. The Institute is located at A-32, Sector-62, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh in an area of 74,000 Sq. The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

The Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra (PMBJK) is a government initiative in India to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through special ‘Jan Aushadhi Stores’. The aim of the scheme is to reduce the burden of spending on medicines on the common man and provide them access to quality generic medicines. The PMBJK stores sell generic medicines which are equivalent to the branded medicines in terms of quality, efficacy, and intended use, but at a lower cost.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Training and Research, Assam was established in the year 1984 under the control of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam.  The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam is entrusted with the task of generating human resources like Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists and other Health personnel to meet the growing needs of not only the state but the entire North Eastern Region.
