DAE Hospital, GSO Kalpakkam is a 100 bedded Hospital, situated at the centre of the Kalpakkam Township and provides health care facilities to about 27,000 beneficiaries. All the employees of DAE units situated at Kalpakkam, and their dependents are covered under Contributory Health Services Scheme subject to certain conditions.

Anand District came into existence after division of Kheda District on 2/10/1997. The District comprises of 8 Talukas, 11 municipalities and 352 village panchayats. The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has been established in 2009 along with other new Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). The University is accredited with A grade from NAAC. The Central University of Punjab is the youngest university that has secured its position in the top 100 institutions (95th Rank) in the University category & 1st amongst New Central Universities in the MHRDs NIRF Ranking 2019. It is credited with highest per capita research funding.

The ESI Act. 1948 envisages an integrated social insurance scheme to provide social security to the industrial workers in certain contingencies such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent physical disablement and death due to employment injury resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity.
