CENTRAL DRUGS STANDARD CONTROL ORGANIZATION, Under the Drug and Cosmetics Act, the regulation of manufacture, sale and distribution of Drugs is primarily the concern of the State authorities while the Central Authorities are responsible for approval of New Drugs, Clinical Trials in the country, laying down the standards for Drugs, control over the quality of imported Drugs, coordination of the activities of State Drug Control Organisations and providing expert advice with a view of bring about the uniformity in the enforcement of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

The Ghubaya Educational Society (Regd.) is a brainchild of group of compassionate, like-minded and philanthropic people whose sole objective is 'Education and Help'. Through various interactions with the people of area during the awareness/contact programmes of the society, the GES was tempted by the urgent need of providing Professional Higher Education in the technical sector for creating an industry-ready work force of Healthcare Professionals. Under the Visionary leadership & guidance of Member of Parliamentary (Loksabha) from Ferozepur constituency, Sh. Sher Singh Ghubaya, the society decided to set up and dedicate an Diploma Pharmacy college to the people of area.

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. Now the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under the act of Parliament-2007.
