The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is an autonomous R&D Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Central Medical Services Society has been established with the approval of Cabinet on 24.08.2011 as a Central Procurement Agency to streamline drug procurement and distribution system of Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and to eliminate existing deficiencies.
