The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

Chanakya College of Pharmacy And Medical Sciences (CCPMS) was established under the umbrella of Chanakya Foundation in 2019 with aim to produce competent pharmacists catering to the needs of Industry, Academia, Research and Society.

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, known for its academic excellence world over , is named after Late Shri Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a great freedom fighter ,who lost his life at the altar of the communal frenzy in Kanpur in March 1931. This was the first medical college of U.P. established in independent India, forming a landmark in the annals of medical education in the state of U.P. It is one of the five medical colleges in India established under the second five year plan.

MORADABAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (MET) was established in the year 1996 and started 4 years degree course in Pharmacy in the year 2009 (B. Pharm) under the banner of Faculty of Pharmacy. Subsequently Diploma in Pharmacy will start from the Academic Session 2018-19. The Institute is situated on the bank of holy river Ram Ganga in the Brass city of India (Moradabad). The College is approved by AICTE, PCI, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J.
