Gujarat State Pharmacy Council to offer financial assistance to family of pharmacist who died in Corona pandemic

​Gujarat State Pharmacy Council (GSPC) had organised celebration of World Pharmacist Day on 25th Sept 2021 in which more than 300 pharmacists from the pharmacy sector of the state of Gujarat were present. In this event GSPC announced financial assistance to the family of a Gujarat pharmacist who died while on duty in Corona pandemic.

During this event, all the pharmacists present were honored by the GSPC as Corona warriors for their excellent health oriented service in the Corona epidemic. Distinguished guests of Pharmacist sector were honored as Guest of Honor for their noble work in the world of Pharmacist in the State of Gujarat. As well as financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh to the family of a pharmacist who died while on duty in Corona pandemic.

On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, President Dr. Montu Kumar Patel appealed to all the pharmacists present as well as the state of Gujarat to practice with aprons and name plates. An announcement was made by the President, Dr. Montu kumar Patel, to form a Gujarat State Pharmacist Welfare Trust to provide financial assistance to all pharmacists in the state of Gujarat who died pandemic and in the course of any kind of legal battle.

Pharmacist Identity Cards were issued to registered Pharmacists by Gujarat State Pharmacy Council to create a distinctive identity of Pharmacists and 76000 Pharmacists will be given Pharmacist Identity Cards in all the districts as well as Registered Pharmacists will be given to all the Pharmacists present. 


GSPC will also be starting help desk center in Surat, Mehsana, Rajkot and Himatnagar in which various applications like registration, renewal, re-entry, degree edition etc. will be accepted and necessary guidance will be provided.
