Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC, a global supplier of generic pharmaceuticals launch aripiprazole oral solution in 1 mg/ml strength.
The Amneal generic - one of the first liquid forms on the market - is an AA-rated, therapeutic equivalent to the discontinued Abilify oral solution. It is now shipping in 150 ml (5 fl oz) bottles through wholesaler, distributors and directly to the trade.
Annual US sales of aripiprazole oral solution were $62.8 million as of June 2015, according to IMS Health.
