The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

DBT-National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune is a premier Autonomous Institution established by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for Research, Development & Training. NCCS has been performing basic and fundamental research in the areas relevant to human health and diseases using appropriate cell based or small animal models.

College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puri (CPS, Puri) conducts D. Pharm, B. Pharm. and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics programmes which are affiliated to Biju Pattanaik University of Technology (BPUT). The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puri has a team of well experienced and most knowledgeable faculty members, and it facilitate the students to access well equipped laboratories and technologies available in the Institute.

NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenic technology, reproductive technology, diseases, nutritional enrichment, and bioinformatics.

KHBS College of Pharmacy was established in 2008 and is managed by Sonpatti Devi medical Welfare & Education Trust through its Management Committee duly constituted as per the norms. Institute has been recognized by the Government of UP and approved by PCI and AICTE

The National Centre for Cell Science is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell Iines/hybridomas etc. The Centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Savitribai Phule Pune Campus, Pune. NCCS invites applications for following posts on various extramural projects purely on temporary basis.

The National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram, is a constituent Laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Initially established in 1975 as a CSIR Complex, it was named as the Regional Research Laboratory in 1978 and later renamed as NIIST in 2007. Its mandate is to conduct research and development activities of the highest quality in areas related to effective utilization of resources of the region and of fundamental importance to the country.
