Agra Public group of Education (APGE) is the oldest and largest group of Agra which was established by Late Shri P.L Sharma in 1965 under the flagship of Agra Public Education Society. In the year 1999, Agra Public Institute of Tech. & Computer Education was started in a 05 acres campus at Artoni-Agra. It started as the Central Laboratories for Scientific & Industrial Research (CLSIR) by the then princely State of Hyderabad in 1944. In India it is the reliable destination of chemical and biotech industries.

The Manipur Technical University (MTU) is the first technical university of the state established on 23rd April 2016 under The Manipur Technical University Act, 2016 (Manipur Act No.8 of 2016). It is included in the UGC list of Universities under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and empowered to award degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 through its departments. All technical institutions operating in the state will affiliate to MTU in due course of time. The university will be in the fifth academic session during the academic year 2020-2021.

Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an academic institution established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre.
