The Great Indian Peninsular (GIP) Railway, came into existence o­n April 16, 1853, when the first train o­n the Indian Sub-continent steamed off from Mumbai to Thane, a modest stretch of o­nly 33 kms. Central Railway was carved out of erstwhile GIP Railway o­n November 5, 1951.
Central Railway covers a large part of the state of Maharashtra and parts of North-Eastern Karnataka and Southern Madhya Pradesh. It is a system with a network of 3905.47 route kilometres and 5975.33 track kilometres linking 477 stations in five divisions i.e Mumbai, Pune,  Bhusawal, Nagpur and  Solapur.

Applications are invited for filling up of Para-Medical staff in Group-C category on CONTRACT basis up to 30/06/2014 or till the availbility of Regular candidate through RRB which ever is earlier.

Post: Pharmacist- 01- SC

Educational Qualification: 10+2 in Science and Two years Diploma in Pharmacy and registration with Pharmacy Council of India.

Age limit as on 01/10/13: 20-35 years

Rate of Remuneration per month: 10160/- p.m.

Note:
1. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years & OBC candidates by 3 years as per extant Rules. OBC candidates should bring along fresh non creamy layer certificate
2 Application should be made in the prescribed proforma (attached) and presented on the date of interview.

Terms & conditions
a) The appointment will be purely on contract basis and fixed remuneration This scheme is on experimental basis and will be valid up to 30/06/2014 or availability of a regularly selected candidate whichever is earlier.
b) Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above will be subjected for screening to adjudge their suitability for the post. Candidate recommended for appointment by the screening committee will have to pass the prescribed medical examination.
c) Selected candidate will be posted any where on Pune division.
d) Selected candidate will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service. Services of selected candidate can be terminated by giving 14 days notice.
e) One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on top of the application to be submitted at the time of Walk in Interview The photograph should be signed so as half of the signature appears on the photograph and the other half on the application.
f) One envelope with residential address and with due postage stamps should be attached along with application.
g) Caste certificate should be in prescribed form and issued by the appropriate authority.
h) Candidates address with Pin - Code should be legible in English in BOLD capital letters and with contact number mentioned.
i) Candidates should bring along all the original documents/certificates at the time of Interview along with one set of Xerox copies duly attested by the competent authority (GAZ officer, State/Central Gov, Postmaster, Head Master etc.).
