The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.

A walk in interview for one SRF (Non-Medical) under CCRUM Project entitled as “Pre-clinical studies of UNIM-001, UNIM-003, UNIM-1202 and UNIM-202” will be held on 20th Oct., 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi-110062.
Eligibility:
M. Pharm. in Pharmacology or M. Pharm. in Pharmacy Practice
The selected SRF will be paid Rs. 18,000/- p.m. and 30% HRA.
The total duration of the project is till 31 March 2013.
The candidates should bring an application along with a detailed C.V. and attested copies of all relevant degrees/certificate/testimonials etc.
No TA/ DA will be paid to attend the interview.
