Alagappa University was brought into existence by a Special Act of the Government of Tamil Nadu in May 1985 with the objective of fostering research, development and dissemination of knowledge in various branches of learning. Alagappa University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the appointment of Research Fellow position in overseas project entitled ‘Pharmacophoric Analysis and Designing of ATP competitive Cyclin Dependent Kinase (CDK4) Inhibitors’ in collaboration with National Institute of Biomedical Innovation, Osaka, Japan
The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs.8000/- per month.

Qualification: PG Degree in Bioinformatics / Molecular Biology/ Bio Medical Genetics/ Biotechnology / Biophysics / Biochemistry /Microbiology/ Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks in the PG examinations
Desirable: UGC/ NET/CSIR / Teaching / Research experience in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Life Sciences/ Computer Science or relevant fields
Fellowship: 8000/- per month
