Job Description
As a Party to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, India has formulated the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 which provides that the authority to determine access to genetic resources rests with the national governments and is subject to national legislation. At present, information available on India’s biodiversity is inadequate, including their potential use and value. Similarly, there is limited capacity and awareness regarding the implementation of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002

Qualifications
Masters degree in Life Science, Environmental Science, with experience in Biodiversity policy and Management
