Patent Analyst- Intellectual Property
Novozymes Intellectual Property Team is now looking for a Patent Analyst for our site in Bangalore, India.
You will report to the Patents manager of our Bangalore office and will be working closely together with our global IP organization which includes branches in Denmark, UK, US, China and India.


Qualifications
Minimum MSc Degree, preferably within biotechnology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, possibly supplemented with a PhD
Minimum 2 Yrs of relevant experience, Maximum 6 Yrs Experience
Experience in any of the databases Patbase, Micropat, Thomson Innovation, STN etc
You must be fluent in English and be capable of expressing yourself in logical and easy-to-understand reports
On a personal level, you are self-disciplined, systematic and comfortable with driving patent activities, working both independently and within a team
You should have experience working as a Patent analyst – especially in making excellent searches and reports
Patent agents having substantial search and analysis experience are welcome to apply and if selected would be designated as Patent agent.

Candidate Profile:
The vacant position offers great challenges and responsibilities in developing world class search and analytics capabilities within the biotech area. You will be working closely together with NZ’s Intellectual Property people - especially the other search and analytics specialists - the project managers, the library, and colleagues in India/abroad.
