Job Description:
1. Being the Drug Supply Management representative at Clinical Trial Team meetings proactively negotiates and communicates clinical supply plan/timeline to internal and external customers and partners.
2. Reviews clinical trial protocol and provides initial input to drug sections. Propose packaging design matching the study design.
3. Applies simulation tools to propose optimal clinical supply plan.
4. Creates reviews and updates the demand plans based on strategic elements/study forecasts.
5. Triggers booklet/label design process, leads packaging design and optimization, coordinates the randomization and distribution of clinical supplies according to study design.
6. Proposes budget for associated external costs for booklet lables, IRT & medication management and distribution; issues purchase orders.
7. Is accountable for creating eCPRs with good quality (FTR), ensures that key study milestones are met.
8. Timely communicates and updates the clinical demand plan on study level to Drug Supply Management Supply Chain Managers and ensures seemless coordination of demand and supply.

Candidate Profile:
Education (minimum/desirable): Apprenticeship or formal education in a logistical, technical or related business aera
Languages: Fluent in local language, basic english
Experience/Professional requirement:
1. >3 years of practical experience in chemical / pharmaceutical industry or > 3 years of experience in field of expertise
2. Adequate (IT) application know how to fulfill role (ie computer control system, international shipment)
3. Good knowledge of Novartis HSE/GMP standards and processes
