The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Project Fellow to work on a research project titled “Exploring sequence and structural patterns of the catalytic β/α loops in TIM Barrel Proteins: Implications for Protein Engineering” sponsored by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, under the supervision of Dr. Ramakrishna Vadrevu, Biological Sciences Department, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.

Fellowship: Rs.8,000/-p.m
Duration: 3 Years
Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, with First Class (60%).
Candidates with Physics or Chemistry as one of the optional subjects in Bachelors degree are highly desirable. Experience/exposure to protein modeling and molecular dynamics software such as GROMACS will be a plus.
Selected candidate will be allowed to register for Ph.D programme of BITS, Pilani, as per institute procedure and norms.
