Walk-in-Interview: Opportunity to Work as a Project Assistant Level - II & III at Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) - Government Jobs

Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences.

Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), wishes to recruit Project Assistants at Level II & III on temporary basis to work under Ramalingaswamy Fellowships awarded by Department of Biotechnology (GOI) to Drs. Muzamil Ahmad and Zahoor Parry of Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (Branch Srinagar).

1. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Essential Qualification: Ist Class M.Sc. or M. Pharm. or equivalent in the area of Biotechnology / Biochemistry /Life Sciences / Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Pharmacology, with at least 2 years experience after M.Sc. or M. Pharm.

Desirable: Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and sound knowledge of subject.

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II
Essential Qualifications: Ist Class M.Sc./M. Pharm or equivalent in Biological sciences with sound knowledge of the relevant subject.

Desirable: Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and sound knowledge of subject.

Age and stipend for the above positions is as under:-

POSITION STIPEND AGE( as on 20.08.2011)

P.A. LEVEL-III Rs.14,000/- (fixed) per month 32 years
P.A. LEVEL-II Rs.12,000/- (fixed) per month 28 years

Tenure: ONE YEAR, likely to be extended based on the performance of the candidate.
