Job Description:
* Proactively search for breakthrough technologies/opportunities essential to India Research Programs
* Develop and maintain networking with food & nutrition companies for lead identification and experts/opinion leaders
* Mentor senior scientific managers in overall technology screening process
* Develop technology acquisition strategy, defining licensing targets by type of technology and geography
* Manage Contract Administration Function
* Define and implement processes to improve the efficiency of Technology Assessment practices
Lead the technology assessment process and help lead the 'quick response' diligence for opportunities presented to senior management.
Help define standards for achieving Go/No Go decisions for technology opportunities, and communication of decisions to potential partners.
Participate in technology mapping
Ensure a strategic technology gap assessment is integrated into each mapping exercise.
Candidate Profile:
Experience in R&D and business development in Food and Nutrition
More than 5 years work related experience
Knowledge of food, beverage, nutrition, dietary supplement, or ingredient trends in India and/or Asia Pacific.
• M.sc or Phd degree related to Biotechnology/Nutrition Science/Bio chemistry/Engineering with Business Minor preferred
