CRA or CDM or Pharmacovigilance
Hi,
I am Upamanyu Modak. I am studying M.S. in Clinical Research. My course will end on August, 2012. I am B.Pharm as well.
I am searching jobs equivalent to my academics and areas of interests. I want to draw your attention in some queries:
1. Among CRA, CDM and Pharmacovigilance which will be better for me?
2. I am a fresher. Which of the above options will be suitable for a fresher?
Please guide me to get the correct path of career.
I heard from my seniors that CR and PV are almost dead in India, please bring some light on this, I am a fresher and want to make my career in CR.
hi my name is murali, im m.pharm(ceutics) completed im somuch confused to choose CDM or PV.. my frds and my seniors are saying that CDM exists from past 20 yrs it is secure one,you can get good packages too and has many opportunities to move in different fields like SAS, oracle clinicals etc.. when comes to PV pharmacology persons will adjust to pharamacovigilance so better go for CDM like wise my frds are suggesting..so pls guide me which is best field for good and rapid growth and explain why it is best..
which is better production or pharmacovigilance after bpharm..?is it worthy to do pgdm courses??

Hi,
1. It depends on your interest whether to join in CRA/CDM/PV. But there is good growth in PV if you have masters especially in pharmacology. In Both CRA and CDM there is good steady growth for peron from B.Pharm, M.Sc CR
2. Almost in all fields whether CRA/CDM/PV, anything is suitable for freshers. All mentioned fileds are inviting freshers. But you ll have best chances to join in CRA/CDM.
