Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur C.G. State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983.
GGV is conducting WALK-IN-INTEVIEW on 06 -10-2017 at 11.30 AM to fill the post of Junior Research Fellow/ Project Fellow on adhoc basis for the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project (SERB- YSS/2014/000073) entitled “Molecular evaluation of glutamate-NO-cGMP cascades modulated by NMDA and AMPA receptors in brain of rates with acute liver failure” under the principal investigator Dr. Santosh Singh, Asst. Prof. Dept, of Zoology. The desirous candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below are advised to appear straight away before the interview Board at the venue *, along with their Bio-data and testimonials in original as well as set of photo-copies.
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Neurosciences/ Life Sciences subjects with at least 55% of marks. NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. Upper age limit is 28 years. 5 years age relaxation is admissible for female/SC/ST and PH candidates. All qualification being equal. SC/ST candidates will be given preference as per GOI rules.
Desirable: Candidates with the experience in Biochemistry and molecular biology field would be preferred.
Duration of the project: Three Years (w.e.f. 07.01. 2016 (Start date) to 06.01.2019).
Duration of Appointment and Fellowship: From date of joining to 06.01.2019 (Co-terminus with the project, it may be extended provided permission of SERB),
Emoluments: as per the SERB (DST) norms.
Venue: Chamber of Dean, School of Life Sciences, Department of Biotechnology, GGV, Bilaspur (C.G.).
