The Mumbai Metropolis has a historic tradition of strong civic activism dedicated to the cause of a better life for all its citizens. And it's the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), the primary agency responsible for urban governance in Greater Mumbai. From the time of its establishment in 1882 as India's first municipal corporation, numerous non-political groups, NGO's and organizations of citizens have worked closely with the civic body in the fields of education, public health, creation of urban amenities, art and culture, heritage conservation, etc.

Note:
- No. of vacancies may increase or decrease
- Rights to change in number of Vacant posts and rights to replace social/horizontal reservation or rights to terminate recruitment process temporary or permanately at any point of time is given to muncipal corporation of greater mumbai.
- For filling up horizontal reserved posts, governments rule will be followed.
- Handicapped candidates are requested to make sure job description, responsibility and physical ability to work before applying for the post.
- For exservicemen, age limit is as per government rules.

Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade pay- Rs. 2800/-

Qualification:
- Diploma in pharmacy from state recognised board or Degree in Pharmacy from recognised institute.
- Candidate should registered as Pharmacist in Maharshtra Pharmacy council.
- Candidate should pass school level or higher level exam with 50 marks questionpaper in Marathi as subject.
- Candidate should have DOEACC society's "CCC" or "O" level or "A" level or "B" level or "C" level certificate or Maharshtra state Higher and technical education's MS-CIT or GACT certificate. And if candidate should not have prior given certificates, he/she should pass out government recognised MS-CIT with in 2 years of time period from date of joining. Failed to do so will be terminated from post.

Age:
- For open 18 to 33 years
- For Backward caste 18 to 38 years

Recruitment Criteria:
1. Candidate should have diploma or degree in pharmacy and registered a pharmacist in maharashtra Pharmacy council
2. Last year diploma/degree exam passed in more than 3 trials will not consider for given post.
3. After candidate will fulfil recruitment rules/terms/conditions, candidate will appear for 100 marks (70 theory questions + 30 demonstration level questions) online multiple choice exam. On basis of marks obtained from exam and their reservation, final merit list will be prepared.
4. if two or more candidates will get same marks then below mentioned method will apply to make numeric list
- Higher qualification
- Date of completion of higher education
- Marks obtaned in degree or diploma
- If above point are not apply, max age candidate will given chance.
