Patent Analyst
Novozymes Intellectual Property is now looking for a Patent analyst for our site in Bangalore, India.
Intellectual Property is a dynamic international function including branches in Denmark, UK, US, China and India. You will report to the Intellectual Property manager of our Bangalore office.

Candidate Profile
- M.Sc graduate, preferably within biotechnology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, possibly supplemented with a PhD.
- You must be fluent in English and capable of communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- You should have experience working as a Patent analyst – especially in making excellent searches and informative reports.
- Experience in working with large sets of data and their analysis tools- for example, Thomson analyser or Vantage Point is preferred.
- Experience or interest in business related analysis is desirable.
- Patent agents having substantial search and analysis experience are welcome to apply and if selected would be designated as Patent agent.
- One must be self-disciplined, systematic and comfortable with driving patent activities, working both independently and within the team.

The vacant position offers great challenges and responsibilities in developing world class search and analytics capabilities within the biotech area.You will be working closely together with NZ’s Intellectual Property professionals - especially the other search and analytics specialists – research scientist, project managers, the library, and colleagues in India/abroad.
