The Ministry of AYUSH is formed in 9th November 2014 for providing more healthcare to the public. The Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) was created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, with a view to providing focused attention to development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy systems.

Post: Manager (Marketing & Trade)

Officers under the Central or State Governments or Autonomous or Research organizations:
(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;
or
(ii) With five years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay Rs. 5,400/- (pre-revised scale of Rs. 8,000-13,500/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) With eight years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay Rs. 4200/- (pre-revised scale of Rs. 6,500-10,500/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) (i) Possessing Post Graduate Degree in Marketing or Business Management
or Business Administration from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent; and
(ii) five years post qualification experience in the field of Marketing and Trade in an Organization or Industry of repute.

Note 1:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2:- The qualifications regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Note 3:- Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department or the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
