Job Description
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development team to scope and conceptualize complex sales opportunities.
- Support Life Sciences Professional Services business line by understanding customer requirements and collaborate with global experts in delivering the output
- Reach out to key opinion leaders and active users of our solutions and establish regular communication leveraging on various communication platforms Domain and solution expertise
- Have a strong background in drug development life cycle, biology and experience with systems biology approach.
- Understand customer needs and be able to recommend relevant solutions and support Sales and Business Development team in developing Statement of Work for Consulting projects.
- Provide expert views in positioning and product development related discussion.
- Serve as a technical consultant of management team when attending customer meetings especially with C-level and senior Pharmaceutical industry professionals with expert opinion, Consultancy and delivery. With proven experience in developing Go to market strategies for Generics and Biosimilars is a requirement for this position
- Involve in deliverable of projects which can come in various forms, for example, deliver a powerful presentation that communications project result in a compelling and convincing way, provide expert opinion and/or insight and help customer understands how to best interprets project outcome, provide consultative session in order to build up customer in house capabilities etc.
Job Summary:
The Pharma Specialist position is responsible for revenue generation and identifying new business ideas which supplement existing core solutions. This will be done by identifying and engage key opinion leader in Drug Discovery and Generics. This position will also provide subject matter expertise in providing consulting services to the Pharmaceutical companies in Drug Discovery research and Generic research.
Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Optional: PHD in Biological Sciences, preferably with Post Doctoral Research Experience
Required Skills, Necessary industry Experience:
At least 8 to 10 years of working experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably with minimum 5 years of Consulting experience with Pharmaceutical Industry
Strong background and depth of knowledge of pharma business.
Strong knowledge and understanding of drug discovery, drug development and generic and biosimilar research.
Excellent intuitive skills- must be able to discern meaning from customers when comments are sometimes obscure.
Be able to understand and then communicate our benefits to customers through strategic understanding of market trends and customer needs
