Applications are invited from the eligible candidates of Dhenkanal District in the prescribed format for engagement in the post of Pharmacist in the Drug Distribution Centres (DDCs) in different Health Institutions of Dhenkanal District. The last date of receipt of application forms by Regd. Post / Speed post only is on or before 31/10/2015 , "Application for the post of Contractual Pharmacist for DDCs” should be written in the top of the envelope addressed to the Chief District Medical Officer, Dhenkanal- 759001.

Remuneration: Rs. 5200/- + Grade pay Rs. 2400/-

Qualifications: The candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination Under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha / Equivalent and Diploma in pharmacy from any of the 3 (three) Medical Colleges & Hospitals of the State / any other recognised private institutions duly approved by AICTE and examination conducted by the Odisha Pharmacy Board.

Eligible Criteria
1. Nationally He /She must be citizen of India.
2. Age limit- the candidates must not be below the age of 21 years or above 32 years as on 01.09.2015. The upper age limit shall be relaxed as per the Govt, norms. The ORV Act and rule will be applicable for this contractual recruitment.
Further that, the Pharmacists engaged on contractual basis under the Central plan Scheme, State Plan Schemes and externally aided Schemes who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service can also apply for the post through proper channel, in the prescribed format*
3. Person selected under PWD (Person with Disability) category shall claim the Vacancies reserved for the category to which he / she belongs as per G.A Deptt. Letter No.11819 /Gen Dt.30.04.2013.

Knowledge in Odia: The candidate must
a) Be able to read write and speak Odia.
b) Have passed middle school examination with Odia as language subject or
have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject or
have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class 7th from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the central Government or
have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the school and Mass education Department.
4. Physical fittness: The candidates must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him incapable of discharging her / his normal duties in this service.
5. He /She must be registered his/her name in Pharmacist Council in the state and have possessed valid Registration Certificates on the date of advertisement.

Provided that, the contractual pharmacists engaged on contractual basis under the central plan Scheme, State Plan Schemes and externally aided Schemes shall be allowed one percent extra mark of the total marks for each completed year of continuous services subject to maximum of fifteen percent which will be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position.
1) The selection shall be made on merit basis of the above career assessment.
2) Candidates of Dhenkanai District will be given preference. In case of non availability of required number of candidates of this district of any category, the case of candidates belonging to neighbour district & other district will be considered respectively.
3) Interested candidates fulfilling the criteria mentioned above are to apply in prescribed application format to the undersigned by Regd. Post/Speed Post only which must reach to the undersigned on or before 16.09.2015 by 5 P.M. The envelope contacting the application should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for "Application for the post of contractual Pharmacist for DDC".
4) Incomplete application or application received after due date & time shall be rejected. Authority shall not be held responsible for any postal delay.
5) The Database of the applicants / inviting objections, if any will be published in the district website (www. dhenkanai.nic.in).

The list of shortlisted candidates & final merit list will also be published on the District website later on. ( If any candidate is found to have suppressed any material information & furnished false information / documents, his / her case shall not be considered for the post applied for and incase already engaged on the basis of the said information / documents, his / her service shall be terminated forth with. No personal correspondence & enquiry will be entertained in this matter.

Canvassing in any form will render the candidate to be disqualified for the post.
The candidates selected under PWD (person with Disability) quota will have to appear the Medical Board for confirmation. The report of Medical Board will be treated as final.

The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the applications and modify / cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason thereof.
