Job Description
Purpose & Context
- Work closely with the technical project leader and other cross-functional team members (supply chain, procurement, finance, logistics etc.) for project management support – ensure quality delivery as per network deliverables.
- Provide technical support to formulation development and establish initial process feasibility (pilot scale), conduct and track shelf life studies for projects. Independent lead for execution of consumer testing, logistics management and project team updates.
- Specifications management and PLM co-ordinator for the project.

Problem complexity
Understand the various technology routes for a particular product brief and their implications on product design. Guide the technology and design team members in selecting the optimal technology and design route for a particular product.
- Input to GDC at design stage of project with complexities within the region to ensure smooth deploy of mixes.
- The project scope is ever dynamic, so speed and execution rigour are key. The results are expected on a higher turnaround rate than is usual.
- Stakeholder interactions and updates to them are needed at regular intervals and hence good articulation skills are needed.
- Use appropriate project management and risk management tools to de-risk project delivery.

- Brand development
- SEAC and regulatory teams, specifications team and PLM
- Global Design tem
- Technology suppliers / Business partners
- Supply chain and Procurement team members

Required Professional skills
The candidate should have excellent project and people management skills, communication skills, and should be able to seamlessly interface with cross-functional team members from Supply Chain, Marketing, Design etc. The candidate should also have the ability to motivate and enthuse the project team to deliver challenging targets.

Education: Bachelor in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ B Pharm/ M.Pharm/ MSc

Experience: Should have 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in design and development within FMCG industry.
