OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME:
The objective of the Partnerships and Interagency Coordination programme is to provide coordination and effective technical support and facilitation to all activities relating to partnerships, interagency coordination and resource mobilization at regional and country level in support of WHO's programmatic priorities and programme budget implementation.

Voluntary contributions are an essential and dominant component in WHO's program budget. Increased flexibility, predictability and sustainability of funding, alignment of donor resources to WHO's priorities and the programme budget, developing new income streams and expanding the donor base of the organization requires the development and strengthening of strategic and innovative relationships with donors and partners


Description of duties:
With the objective of introducing the Resource Mobilization Management Systems (RMMS) being developed in SEAR, the incumbent, under the overall guidance of PLN and under direct supervision of PIR (currently PLN is Ag), will:
1. Follow-up the finalization of the RMMS development
2. Oversee the smooth introduction of the RMMS in the SEAR and assist PIR to gain a coordinated response by all stakeholders involved in the donor agreement clearance process through the RMMS
3. Identify teething problems of the RMMS introduction and to assist PIR/PLN to take corrective actions
4. Assist all Budget Centers in utilizing RMMS in donor agreement clearance process
5. Carry out a review on user friendliness of RMMS and identify areas for further development.
6. Any other tasks, as identified by the PIR and PLN

Education:
University degree from a recognized university.
Skills:
- Ability to work, negotiate and manage/lead in a multi-cultural environment;
- Experience with WHO/UN or other multi/bilateral development agencies would be an asset.

Experience:
At least five years of experience of working with international organization in resource mobilization, funds raising and partnership building.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English

Annual salary: (Net of tax)
USD 56,198 at single rate
USD 60,205 with primary dependants
