Post: Deputy Manager / Manager - Program Management R&D

Job Description:
* Accountable for effective management and delivery of assigned simple or complex development projects in each global region Ensure that the core and extended team are executing programs in line with the approved business plan Provide leadership to cross-functional teams by defining clear, realistic goals and strategies 
* Negotiate with project teams to arrive at mutually agreeable and realistic time lines that are achievable and communicate these to all concerned
* Responsible to communicate and get agreement for any delays in project progress that is expected due to external or internal reasons
* Responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets and providing project updates and information to support the financial reporting cycles
* Cross-functional experience in different areas such as Development, Tech transfer, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Operations, or Regulatory is preferred but not mandatory
* Facilitate action items to completion. Identifies and resolve project issues

Education/Certification   
- Master's degree in a technical field that is related to the organizational needs of the particular unit assigned (i.e., drug, device, etc.).
- Formal Program Management certification or training is a plus. Project Management experience is not required, but desirable.
- Experience in a technical/functional role, Core Team member can be considered   Formulations, Process Engineering, Technology transfer OR Manufacturing of drug product or API cGMP, Project Financial processes, Procurement, Planning Excellent communication skills Customer focus, Interpersonal skills.
