Post: Team Lead - Legal & IP Operations

Job Description
Contract Management: Handle & Manage CDAs, Consultancy Agreements, Service Agreements and other contracts of similar complexity level (eg. supply agreements) in direct contact with the business clients and with very limited support / supervision by Lawyers. Handles agreements with higher level of complexity (eg. Supply Agreements, License Agreement) in direct supervision by Lawyers.
- Divestment Due Diligence –Manage and support divestment due diligence to ensure right information is shared with the vendors as part of product divestment assessment.
- IP Operations: Supports optimization of current processes and/or introduction of new or modified processes. Maintains the overview on timelines and deliverables in all assigned projects.
- Manage the development and timely delivery of current awareness alerts in support of active research programs, based on in-house established patent search protocols
- Conduct, initially under supervision of a senior IP information analyst, patent landscape searches
- Collaborate effectively with other PRIAN team members to ensure that the information needs of the PHARMA scientists and attorneys are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Support growth of current teams by helping business development team in sales discussions. Follow up on sales queries and work as a point of contact to explain the services and model of delivery.
- Responsible for budget for the team
- Responsible of the people management ( including growth, retention, skill development etc)
- Support and implement process improvement interventions to improve the quality of services to the customer.

Candidate Profile
Graduate/ Post Graduate in Law
• Experience in managing Contract Management
• Experience in Managing IP Operations ( Inlc. Landscape Searches, Docketing etc)
• Strong scientific background
• English
• 8-12 years of overall work experience
