Work as Research Assistant-Microbiology & Immunology in Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work as part of the Respiratory team investigating microbiological and immunological responses of healthy adults inoculated with live pneumococcus. The successful candidate will provide assistance to research scientists working on this project. Areas of responsibility will include contributing to the development and delivery of laboratory based research activities and assist with the production and dissemination of research outputs. Job Description:
You will be required to work closely with a multi-disciplinary, diverse team of scientists within LSTM and must have relevant experience of working within a research laboratory

Candidate Profile:
It is essential that you have a MSc in a Biological Science such as Microbiology, Biochemistry or Pharmacology. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), proven organisational skills, with a flexible attitude to work.
