Eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under CSIR sponsored project (No.38(1405)/15/EMR-II) entitled “Investigation on the role of heat responsive proteins Ssl2245 and Sill 130 encoded by a dicistronic operon in growth regulation of Synechocystis sp. PCC6803” to join in the laboratory of Dr. J.S.S. Prakash, Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, University of Hyderabad.

Emoluments of the position: 12,000 + HRA
Qualifications
Applications should have an M.Sc., degree in Biotechnology/ Plant biology/ Microbiology (above 7.5 CGPA or 75% ) and NET qualification.
Candidates should have at least one year hands on experience in molecular biology techniques like, Gene cloning and expression, western blotting, affinity purification RNA isolation and qRT-PCR analysis.
Candidates interested in above position should send a one page statement clearly explaining how their skills are relevant to the above said position along with the detailed CV.
Duration: Appointment will be purely temporary and is made for a period of one year and can be extended until the duration of the project i.e., for a period of 3 years.
Interested candidates having excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a team environment with an aspiration to learn new technques and explore new scientific areas are requested to appear for a walk-in interview on 31st March, at 11:00 in the office of Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad.
