Central Government Health Scheme was introduced in Pune on 17th July 1978, for providing comprehensive medical care facilities for the Central Government Employees (Serving & Retired), family members and other entitled categories. C.G.H.S Pune currently has nine Wellness centers and one Polyclinic. All wellness centers provide Allopathic treatment.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of pharmacist at Central Govt. Health Scheme, Pune under Direct Recruitment quota.

Scale of Pay: PB I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age limit: Between 18 and 30 years
(Relaxable up to 35 years for SC/ST Candidates; up to 33 years for OBC Candidates; up to 35 years for Govt. Employees (Serving Government employees belonging to SC/ST/OBC are eligible for additional age relaxation as per extant Central Government rules.)
Note: The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the date of publication of advertisement, i.e. 14/03/2015.
Educational and other qualifications:
(a) 10 + 2 with science stream (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)
(b) Technical Qualification – Approved diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India & registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.

I. Procedure for submission of Application:
The application should be written (preferably typed) in Capital letters, either in English or Hindi as per the following proforma accompanied by two passport size photographs along with the copies of the documents (including Caste Certificate) duly attested. The application should be submitted

II. Documents to be attached with the application
1. Attested copies of certificates showing age and educational qualifications and statements of marks.
2. Attested copies of documents in support of claim of Caste (SC/CT/OBC).
3. In case of OBC candidates –Valid Non Creamy Layer Certificate.
4. Attested copies of documents in support of the claim of age relaxation.
5. On the envelope forwarding the application please write “Application for the post of Pharmacist”
6. One self-addressed envelope of 12 x 25 cms size which must be affixed with sufficient postage stamps.

III. Other Conditions:
(i) Applications of candidates that do not possess the requisite qualifications and which do not contain the required details/documents/enclosures shall be rejected summarily.
(ii) The candidates are required to make their own arrangements for attending interview, if called for by this office. SC/ST candidates called for interview shall be entitled for reimbursement of Second Cass Rail fare by the shortest route on production of valid tickets.
(iii) Any person who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or who having a spouse living has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall not be eligible for appointment to the said post. Provided that the Central Government may exempt any person from the operation of this rule, if such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage, and that there are other grounds for doing so.
(iv) These posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent.
(v) The applications received after the specified closing date due to postal delay will not be entertained under any circumstances by the appointing authority.
(vi) Request for correction/change of any particulars in the Application form shall not be entertained under any circumstances. CGHS will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incomplete details in the application or omission to provide the required details in the application form.
