Job Description:
• Supervise the development, scale-up and transfer activities
• Validation of formulations and manufacturing processes for new OTC products (Global Business Unit).
• Act as the Core Team member for designated projects.

Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
Performs all duties of the Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist I with a focus on projects of the highest complexity. In addition:
• Plans and conducts experiments of a high degree of complexity, covering formulation development, prestability, registration stability and clinical batch supply, scale-up and site transfer and process validation.
• Consolidates and analyzes data from various sources, draws conclusions and recommends scientific solutions as required.
• Prepares technical reports.
• Writes CMC section of INDs, ANDAs, NDAs, CTAs and CTDs for submission to Health Authorities.
• Prepares GPD responses to Health Authority questions.
• Core Team member for R&D projects, leading GPD activities in multi-functional teams.
• Assists in creation of development timelines and other project management activities.
• Provides budget forecasts and resource estimates.
• Makes scientific presentations to internal management and external customers.

Candidate Profile:
• Requires competencies and skills of Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist I.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in managing pharmaceutical development projects.
• Takes initiative.
• Displays analytical and conceptual thinking.

Education : M Pharm or Ph.D India Fluent written and spoken English required M. Pharm with at least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience. Ph.D. with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
