Job Description
ICON Clinical Research has a strong reputation in our approach to clinical development and provides innovative strategies to the drug development process. The Clinical Quality Compliance Associate (CQCA) contributes to the review of ICON systems and quality procedures while tracking departmental quality compliance in processes and departmental metrics. You will lead qualifying Quality Issues within QC and work with our clients to oversee quality processes.
ICON is presently in over 40 countries with over 80 offices worldwide and has over 11,000 employees globally. This position will assist operational staff in the implementation and tracking of clinical quality plans (including CAPAs) at the department and study level. CQCAs drive scientific and operational excellence across all phases of clinical trial services by ensuring compliance for our clients’ studies.

Candidate Profile:


  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in nursing or science (but not required)
  • At least 3 years of quality experience in GCP or GXP
  • Minimum of 6 years of clinical research experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical company
  • Root cause analysis and/or cross-functional leadership experience required. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% when needed but likely only a few times annually.
