Job Description
The position will involve Molecular Modeling calculations in an industrial environment, primarily focused on understanding and developing new catalytic and adsorbent materials through providing both fundamental interpretation of in-house data and predicting physicochemical properties of new materials.
The successful candidate will be also expected to play a principal role in maintaining and developing or introducing to the team new simulation techniques at both quantum chemistry and classical force field levels. In addition to leadership in linking molecular calculations to experimental characterization, the individual will work on teams with chemists, chemical engineers, and scientists from catalysis-related materials fields.
For a successful candidate the position will provide intellectual challenge, increasing responsibility, career advancement, and the ability to remain involved in the scientific community through publications.
The candidate will also have mentor and guide the molecular modeling team.
