Post: Senior Pharmacist
No.of post: 02
Classification: Group-B
Scale of pay: PB-2 (9300 – 34800), Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.00
Age limit: 30 years
Educational and other qualification: Essential:
(i) 10+2 or equivalent in Science subjects from recognized Board or University.
(ii) 2 Years' Diploma with First class and minimum 6 months' internship in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India; and
(iii) Registered as Pharmacist with State Pharmacy Council (Sr. Pharmacist).
Probationary period: 2 years
Others: The post is strictly residential. The person appointed has to stay in the IIEST Shibpur, campus.
General Conditions:
1. The candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format with complete information and attachment. Candidates applying for more than one post are required to submit separate application form and fees.
2. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitting information, other documents and photograph. Furnishing of any false information and/or suppression/concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/cancellation of selection/appointment.
3. Number and nature of posts shown above may change and vary at the time of selection/recruitment. Further, the Institute reserves the right not to fill any post(s).
4. The age limits qualification/experience etc. for all posts shall be determined as on the last date of submission of application form.
5. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates is applicable as per the Government of India norms.
6. Any application without required self attested copy of certificates/testimonials and without self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority is liable to be rejected.
7. Mere fulfillment of the required qualification and experience etc., doe not entitle a candidate to be called for interview/selection.
8. The institute reserves the right to conduct the screening test, if the number of applicant is large for any post. Further, the institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on he basis of screening test, qualification and experience, higher than those prescribed in the advertisement, and as per criteria decided by the scrutiny committee.
9. Except the post of Information cum data entry assistant, besides the pay in the pay band and grade pay applicable for the post, admissible allowances like DA, HRA etc. in accordance with institute rule in force from time to time are payable. Accommodation in campus will be provided on payment of usual rent. House rent allowance will be admissible if accommodation is not provided. Leave Travel concession for self and family as per Central Government Rules.
10. Candidates employed in Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs service should send their application through proper channel. In case, the original application application routed through proper channel is likely to be delayed, a photocopy of the application should be sent in advance so as to reach before the prescribed last date. All such candidates are required to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.
11. The appointment of selected candidate is subject to being physically fit and sounds in health for the services in the Institute.
12. Applicants have to apply in prescribed format available at institute website and send the completed application to the Dean Administrative Affairs, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah 711103, West Bengal so as to reach on or before- three weeks of publications of this advertisement.
13. All original documents have to be produced at the time of interview.
14. The decision of the institute in all matters will be final. No correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from the candidate in connection with the process of selection/interview. Canvassing in any manner would entail disqualification of the candidature.
15. Applicants belonging to OBC category but coming in Creamy Layer will not be entitled to the benefit of reservation and should apply as general candidate.
16. The applicant is required to visit the institute website regularly as any subsequent corrigendum/addendum etc. shall be published on the institute website only.
17. The decision of the competent authority will be final in the matter of selection.
18. Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of Kolkata.
