Interested and eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements are invited to appear before the Selection committee for a walk-in-interview for the Research Associate position under the ICAR National Fellow scheme “Development of molecular platforms for point-of-care detection of major enteric viruses responsible for neonatal mortality in animals”.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential: PhD in Virology/ Immunology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Life sciences Or MVSc/MSc in Virology/ Immunology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life sciences with 1st Division or Master's degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014.
Desirable: Candidates should have working experience in real-time PCR, cloning, protein expression, sequencing, synthetic peptide work, immunoassays (ELISA) and should be well versed with bioinformatics software’s and computer knowledge. Published research papers will be desirable

Terms and conditions:
1. The post is temporary and on purely contractual basis for initially for one year
2. PI reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview and terminate the contract due to unsatisfactory performance without assigning any reason, even before completion of the tenure or project for which non appeal therefore shall be made.
3. No objection and experience certificate from the current employer in case she/he is in employment.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the aforesaid interview.
5. Candidates attending the interview must bring complete bio data in original, thesis dissertation, reprint of published papers and attested photocopies of all educational certificates, mark sheets, degree and testimonials and two passport size photographs.
