Walk in interview for Research Associate in CSIR-IHBT

Walk-in-Interview is scheduled to be held on the date mentioned against the position in the respective column for selection of suitable candidate in the following areas under the CSIR Project on purely temporary basis for the duration of the project(s) or till completion of project whichever is earlier:

CSIR Project (i) "Chemical profiling of saponins of saponin rich plant and evaluation of cytotoxicity, immunomodulatory and adjuvant activities" ( up to 28.10.2017).

Stipend (Per Month) [Consolidated]: Rs.36,000/-P.M.+HRA

Educational Qualification(s) Essential/Desirable: Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Life Science with experience in isolation and characterization of secondary metabolites and bioactivity evaluation.

Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years,(Up to 40 years for members of SC/STs). No other women are entitled for such relaxation.

The number of positions as advertised may vary depending upon the suitability of candidates and assess needs of the candidates in the relevant project(s).

Eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview(s) on the dates, time and place mentioned above alongwith an application on prescribed format which is available on the CSIR-IHBT, website www.ihbt.res.in.. alongwith, attested photocopies of testimonials of their age, educational qualifications, experience, reserved category, etc. at the time of interview. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the projects. There will be no right implicit or explicit for regular position or any post in CSIR-IHBT, whatsoever. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates of testimonials at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.

The Selection Committee(s) may adopt the selection criterion at its own i.e. either by conducting direct interview or written test followed by interview on the same day.

The decision of the Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur shall be final for engagement of Research Associate at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.).
