Vacancy as Pharmacist in Ministry of Defence, Gun & Shell Factory

The Sr. General Manager, Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore invites online applications from the Indian nationals fulfilling the requisite criteria for the following posts.

Scale of Pay: PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800

Age: 18-32 years as on closing date for receipt of the application, Relaxation will to Ex-Serviceman: As per Govt. rules

Educational and other qualifications required for Direct Recruits:
Essential :
(i) Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Science subjects from a recognized Institution.
(ii) Candidate should possess Certificate as Registered Pharmacist having passed two years diploma course with three months training in Pharmacy from an Institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Desirable: Should have working knowledge of Computers.

Fee: Rs. 50/-

Pay Band: PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800

Category of disabled suitable for the job: One leg affected (R or L), Both legs affected but not arms

It may be noted that the vacancies advertised in the Employment News dated 11-17 July, 2015 for the posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (Science) and Trained Graduate Teacher (Social Science) have been cancelled due to administrative constraints. Therefore, online application will not be received from these two posts.

1. The number of vacancies may vary due to changed circumstances.
2. Examination fee is exempted for PH, SC & ST candidates.
3. PWD candidates can apply against all these posts. Age concession will be given to the Persons with Disabilities irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved for person with disabilities or not, provided the post is identified suitable for the relevant category of disability. Age relaxation up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates) in upper age limit will be available to all PWD candidates.

OTHER IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Reference date for age and qualification eligibility will be 03-Aug- 2015 i.e. closing date of online application. Candidates should possess the required qualification of the post against which he/she is intending to apply on or before the date of closure of online registration.

3. Reservation for Persons with Disability (PWD):- Vacancies are reserved for Disabled (Physically Challenged) Persons as per government guidelines. Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in services/ posts who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability. A person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board duly constituted by Central or State Government. The certificate should be dated on or before closing date.
4. For OBC Candidates:- Candidates claiming OBC status may note that certificate on creamy layer status should have been obtained within three years from the closing date for online application.
5. For Govt. Servants :- Relaxation to Govt. Servants will be applicable to those candidates who have completed 3 years of service as on 03-08-2015. Candidates, who are working in Central/ State Govt. or PSU organization, have to submit NOC from the competent authority.
6. Candidates will be required to submit all the original documents related to age, educational qualifications, category, experience etc when they are asked to do so.
7. The documents are liable to be verified at any stage i.e. either before the written test or on the day of written test or on any subsequent date.
8. Any application submitted in hard copy without applying online will be summarily rejected.
9. Canvassing of any form will disqualify the candidates.
10. The servant, after appointment, are liable to be transferred to any other Ordnance Factories in India subject to exigencies.
11. The advertisement shall be subject to order /judgement, if any, by the Hon’ble Courts/Ministry of Defence / Ordnance Factory Board etc.
