Post: Pharmacist

No.of post: 15 (SC=02, ST=03, UR=6, SEBC=4)

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 5,200/- and G.P Rs. 2,400/-Per Month

Minimum Qualification: Must have passed HSC and + 2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha / equivalent and Diploma in Pharmacy from any of the 3 (three) Govt. Medical College & Hospitals of the State / any other recognized private institutions duly approved by A.I.C.T.E. and examination conducted by the Odisha Pharmacy Board.

Selection: Selection will be made on the basis as per the Career Assessment Mark in HSC Examination excluding 4th Optional and + 2 Science Examination excluding 4th Optional and Diploma in Pharmacy Examination. The Pharmacist concerned must have registered their name in Pharmacy Council in the state and have possessed valid Registration Certificate as on the date of Advertisement.

Document to be submitted: Attested Xerox copy of the following Certificates
1. HSC, Certificate,
2. +2 Science Certificate or equivalent
3. D- Pharma Passed Certificate
4. Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate
5. Fresh Valid Residential / Nativity Certificate from concerned Tahasildar
6. Two nos. of Color Passport size Photograph
7. Valid Employment Registration Card
8. Caste Certificate for SCI ST/ SEBC Candidates

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Preference will be given to the candidates of Nayagarh district. In case of non¬availability of candidates from Nayagarh District, the candidates of other districts will be considered.
2. The Appointment / Engagement is purely temporary & on contractual basis and can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason fraeof
3. The selected candidates shall have to submit an undertaking to the effect that, s/he not claim any Government Post / Regular appointment in future.
4. Age Limit: The candidates shall not be less than 21 years & but not more than 32 years as on dt. 15.07.2015. As per Orissa Civil Services (Fixation of upper age limit) Rules will be applicable.
Provided further that, the Pharmacists engaged on contractual basis under the Central plan Scheme, State Plan Schemes and Externally aided Schemes who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service shall apply for the post through the proper channel in the prescribed format.

5. Knowledge in Odiya: The candidate must
a) Be able to read write and speak Odiya
b) Have passed middle school examination with odiya as language subject or
c) Have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with odiya as medium of examination in non-language subject or 
d) Have passed in odiya as language subject in the final examination of class VII from a school or educational institute recognized by the Government of Odisha or the central Government or
e) Have passed as least in odiya in Middle English School Standard conducted by the school and mass Education Department.
6. Physical Fitness: The candidate must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him incapable of discharging her/his normal duties in this service.
7. Career Assessment: (Total 100 Marks) out of which HSC 20%, +2 Sc 30% and Pharmacist 50%).
Provided that the contractual pharmacists engaged on contractual basis under the Central plan Scheme, State Plan Sheme and externally aided schemes shall be allowed one percentage extra mark of the total marks for each completed year of continuous services subject to maximum of fifteen percentages which will be added to the marks secured by them.
8. Marital Status: If married the candidate must not have more than one spouse living; Provided that the Government may, it satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such candidate or there are other specific grounds for doing so, exempt any candidate from the operation of this rule.
9. The number of Posts may deviate as per norms / present vacancies.
10. The ORV Act & Rules will be applicable for filling of the above vacancies.
11. The complete application with all enclosures should reach to the office of the Chief District Medical Officer, Nayagarh At/ Po/ Dist- Nayagarh (Odisha), Pin-752069 being super scribed by “Application for engagement of contractual Pharmacist” on the top of the envelope and all application will be accepted only by the Regd. Post / Speed Post only. The last date of receipt of the application in the office of the CDMO, Nayagarh is on or before 30.07.2015 up to 5.00 P.M. The Authority is not responsible for any postal delay/missing of application.
12. The undersigned reserves right for cancellation / modification of advertisement and mode of selection (as will be decided by the Selection Committee and as instructed by the Government).
