Candidates are invited for post of Assistant commissioner (Drugs) in Food and drugs department by online application method.

Above mentioned numbers of post may change as per rules of state government.

Pay scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + grade pay 5400

Nationality: Indian National

Age limit: on Date 1st May 2016, not more than 45 years.
Age limit will not liable for candidates working in Maharashtra government.

Qualification: - Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by Law. And

Experience: Experience gained after acquiring above qualifications in the manufacture or testing of drugs or enforcement of the provisions of the act for a minimum period of five years.
Have adequate knowledge of Marathi so as to be able to speak read write Marathi with facility.
Preference may be given to candidates having post-graduate degree in any one of the subjects mentioned above or degree in law or research experience in the synthesis and testing of drugs or practical experience in the manufacture of drugs or both
Provided further that, the age limit may be relaxed in the case of candidates who possess exceptional qualification or experience or both.

If candidate have not contain mentioned qualification and experience, he/she will not eligible for interview. If number of application is more than no. of posts, then exam will be conducted and candidates who pass out in exam will allow to go in next round.
