Job Description
It is expected that the incumbent, during the course of his (her) work, will need to deliver the following:
1. Understanding the consumer habits & needs as required by the Project team while articulating the needs of business
2. Develop product solutions as needed by the business, articulated as an outcome of Project team work
3. Develop processes to manufacture product solution developed
4. Ensuring compliance to Internal Unilever protocols while developing product solutions with respect to commitment to safety, environment, claim support, specification management etc.

In addition to the above, it is expected that he(she) would contribute pro-actively in identifying & supporting Value improvement opportunities for Skin portfolio of products.
• Independently manage manages one small technical Project as a PL with the cross-functional team
• Preparation of technical transfer dockets
• Start developing depth in specific technical area (Formulation/Processing/Packaging) or (RM/Product/Pack/Process Specification generation and Development, Analysis of Soap Bars)
• Conduct technical trials and leads and manages a team of technicians/staff
• Analysis & interpretation of data
• Represents own function in Cross-functional team in Projects
• Operational interactions with Factories/Suppliers
• Develops working knowledge of related skill areas other than own function

Candidate Profile
*  People management skills
*  Good Verbal/written Communication skills
*  Dealing with people from multicultural backgrounds.
*  Multi tasking ability
*  Ability to work independently with Cross-functional team members
*  Understanding of Product Development Principles
*  Understanding of R & D Processes and Protocols

Education: Post Graduate with knowledge of chemistry (preferably Pharmacy/chemical engineering)
