A.R. College of Pharmacy & G. H. Patel Institute of Pharmacy(ARGH) is one of the best Pharmacy Institutes in the region. To meet the needs of Pharmaceutical industries in Gujarat and beyond to provide quality higher education in different disciplines of Pharmacy. Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) set up in 1981, the A.R .College of Pharmacy & G H. Patel Institute in Pharma(ARGH) with generous donation from an industrialist Smt. Anjanaben Ashokbhai Shah and an eminent philanthropist Shri Gordhanbhai Hathibhai Patel. At present the institute imparts education in Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level studies and conducts research in emerging/ thrust areas of Pharmacy. The college has been housed in a three storey building. Currently, the institute functions with a total intake of204 in eight different courses.

Head of the Department in Pharmacy (Diploma Side):
Pay Scale: As per CTE/GTU/AICTE /PCI, Gujarat State.
AGE: Not more than 40 years. Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed in favour of a candidate who is already in the service of the Government of Gujarat and also in favour of a candidate belonging to SC or ST or SEBC in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Qualification: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in pharmacy with First class either in Bachelor’s or Master’s and minimum 10 yrs. relevant teaching/research/industrial experience.
OR
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in pharmacy with First class either in Bachelor’s or Master’s and Ph.D. or equivalent in Pharmacy and minimum 05 yrs relevant teaching/research/industrial experience, and
• possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) rules, 1967
• Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi

Assistant Professor in Pharmacy (Degree Side):
Pay Scale: As per CTE/GTU/AICTE /PCI, Gujarat State.
AGE: Not more than 35 years. Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed in favour of a candidate who is already in the service of the Government of Gujarat and also in favour of a candidate belonging to SC or ST or SEBC in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Qualification: Bachelor’s & Master’s with first class either Bachelor’s or Master’s in pharmacy and
• Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) rules, 1967.
• Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi

NOTE:
• The above post carry in addition to salary, dearness allowances and other benefits as per rules of Commissionorate of Technical Education (CTE), Govt. of Gujarat &Charutar Vidya Mandal(6th pay commission).
• Selected candidates will be placed on probation for a period of two years.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC castes should attach certificate from the competent authority. SEBC candidates have to submit relevant non-creamy layer certificate from the competent authority for the prescribed period.
