NICED conducts research on acute diarrhoeal diseases of diverse etiologies as well as on typhoid fever, infective hepatitis and HIV/AIDS related epidemiological research and screening. Aims of this Institute are to conduct research on these diseases in both basic and applied aspects. The Institute also trains health professionals for better management and prevention of diarrhoeal diseases and for rapid and correct diagnosis of the etiological agents. Epidemiological investigations of diarrhoeal diseases are carried out in different parts of India.

Job Description: HIV Sentinel Surveillance activities.
Qualification & Experiences: Essential: MBBS Degree in the required discipline and recognized by MCI or First class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects or Statics from a recognized University or equivalent.
Or
Second class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological discipline subjects or Statistics with PhD degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: MD/Ph D/PG Diploma. Experience in HIV/AIDS.
Salary: Rs. 55,125/- p.m. (fixed) for Medical Or 44,100/- p.m. (fixed) for Non-Medical

Technical/ Project Assistant

Job Description: HIV Sentinel Surveillance activities.
Qualification & Experiences: Essential: Three years Graduate Degree in required subject with 2 years experience or Three years Graduate Degree in relevant subject with two years diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized university/ institute.
Desirable: Master’s Degree in Psychology/ Economics/ Social Sciences from recognized University. Experience in HIV field work with vulnerable groups and counseling, knowledge of data management and analysis.
Salary: Rs. 22,120/- p.m. (fixed)
Age: Below 30 Years


N.B. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.

Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may report to the Administrative Officer, along with Bio-data showing academic record from Matriculation onward experience, recent passport size photograph and attested copies of relevant certificates for the interview as per details given below:
