Applications are invited Consultant in National Medicinal Plants Board

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for engagement of 3 Consultants viz. (1) Consultant (In-situ/Ex-situ Conservation and JFMCs); (2) Consultant (Research & Promotional activities) and (3) Consultant (Administration) (purely on short-term contract basis) on a monthly remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- fulfilling the eligibility criteria as under:-

Post: Consultant

1) Consultant (In-situ/Ex-situ Conservation and JFMCs) – Age not exceeding 45 years
a) Masters’ Degree in Forestry/Botany/Medicinal Plants with Taxonomy/Silviculture background or Sociology/Social Work/Economics; and
b) At least 2 years’ experience in the field Forestry/Botany/Medicinal Plants with Taxonomy/Silviculture background or Social/Community Development/Medicinal Plant Project Management.
c) Desirable: Ph.D. in concerned discipline.

2) Consultant (Research and Promotion activities) – Age not exceeding 50 years
a) Masters’ Degree in Bio-Chemistry/Phyto-Chemistry; and
b) At least 2 years’ experience in the field of research.
c) Desirable: Ph.D. in concerned discipline

3) Consultant (Administration) – Retired Government Officials
Retired Government Officers at the level of Section Officer or Senior Accounts Officer from the Government of India having vast experience in the field of Administration.
