Qualification: DMLT with BSc Microbiology or MSc in Medical Microbiology/ MSc Medical Biochemistry
Essential Experience/ Eligibility: Minimum 6 year’s experience in Diagnostics Lab. Familiar with latest tools & technologies being in use, documentation, training calendar, brochure, NABL coordination.
Candidate shall be a qualified certificate holder for Medical Laboratory- Quality system & Internal Audit as per the ISO 15189 guideline.
Job Profile
To review, approve and ensure compliance to SOPs by all concerned departments and personnel.
Manage NABL, ISO and other existent accreditation requirements; and plan, prepare and execute the proceedings of other accreditations.
To organize, conduct and follow-up management review meetings on monthly/quarterly basis.
To lead the team of Quality Assurance executives through effective delegation, allocation of resources, monitoring & guidance towards the smooth execution of their responsibilities.
To approve the qualification protocols and reports of all laboratory equipment/ instruments and develop calibration plan for the same.
To ensure effective and timely review, verification and release of test reports.
To ensure effective quality control for all test results by development and implementation of internal quality control plan and external quality assurance program and effective use of statistical tools.
To approve all Validation documents.
To mentor and guide the role of QA department to effectively perform the necessary quality assurance activities.
Must be able to perform the laboratory tests and shall be resposnsible for the training and development of the staff for the NABL activities and shall be responsible for the overall quality systems of the lab, TAT and quality of the Test reports.
