Opportunity for Consultant (Botany/ Pharmacognosy) in CCRS | Walk in

The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India proposes to engage the services of two Medical Officers with M.D (Siddha) in Sirappu Maruthuvam and one Consultant (Botany/Pharmacognosy), as per the details given below. The engagement will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of six months. The selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-Interview to be held on Saturday, the 7^th March, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Central Council for Research in Siddha, SCRI Building, Anna Government Hospital Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106.

Qualifications:
Essential: (a) M.Sc in Botany/ Medicinal Plants or M. Pharma (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized University. (b) Retired Officers who were drawing grade pay of not less than Rs 6600 from a Central Government/ Semi-Government/ Public Undertaking or Institute of repute, and having at least 10 years experience in Research/teaching

Desirable: Ph. D in the relevant subject

Age Limit: not exceeding 63 years

Remuneration: Rs 30000/- (consolidated)

General Conditions
1. Age limit of the candidates will be determined as on 1st March, 2015.
2. The appointment will be initially for a period of six months and may be curtailed or extended at any time at the discretion of the competent authority.
3. The engagement of above posts will be purely on contractual basis and it confers NO right to claim for continuation or regularization of appointment
4. The candidates who fulfill the requirements may attend the walk-in-Interview alongwith an application in the prescribed format (Annexure I). The candidate should also bring one set of self-attested photocopies of certificates of qualifications, experience, mark sheet, etc. and two recent passport size colour photographs.
5. The candidates should bring with them the originals of all the documents/certificates etc. for verification.
6. The Competent authority reserves the right to postpone/cancel the recruitment process at any stage. The Selection Committee has the right to select or reject the application of any candidate.
7. The number of posts may vary depending on the Council’s requirements.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Written Test/Interview.
9. The candidates should report for Interview at 09.30 AM on 07.03.2015
10. Interested candidates may, in their own interest, ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview. Verification of documents will be done before the interview.
