Job description
Purpose of the role
The purpose of the job is to develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the sales goals for Drug Repurposing team.
Major Accountabilities
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals in the defined geography / services.
- Responsible for detailed and accurate sales forecasting & budgeting.
- Directly responsible for the revenue/ sales targets achievement in all service lines for the geography.
- Explore/ Analyze new markets, etc for business growth.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company- leadership team and other company functions.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- MIS & reporting as per company norms.
- Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs, networking events and professional meetings.
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of delivering the assigned target
- Experience in dealing with international customers is a must.
- Sales & Marketing experience in CRO setting is a plus
- Proficient in verbal and written communications and excellent presentation skills is essential
Education
- MSc/MS/PhD in Biological or Chemical sciences
Experience:
- Should possess at least 8-10 years of sales & marketing experience
- Relevant sales marketing experience in the area of drug discovery and development, computational biology, informatics, data sciences is desirable.
