Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi under the aegis of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is engaged in research and developmental work in radiation sciences, and Medical Image Processing. Applications are invited from candidates possessing below mentioned qualifications:

Post: Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow

Type of Fellowship: Research Associate – DRDO (RA) (Maximum Tenure- Two Years)
Stipend (Monthly): Rs.40,000/ + HRA as per rule (DRDO Fellowship)

Number of Fellowships: 1
Subject/Discipline: Pharma
Essential Educational Qualification: PhD in Pharmacology/Pharmaceutics
OR  3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M. Pharm with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals

Number of Fellowships: 1
Subject/Discipline: Pathology
Essential Educational Qualification: MD/DNB Pathology
(Preference: 2 years experience to complement the existing pathologist)

Type of Fellowship: JRF with their own valid fellowship from CSIR/ UGC/ DST, etc.
Stipend (Monthly): Rs.25,000/ + HRA as per rule  (As per Fellowship granted by funding agency)

Number of Fellowships: 6
Subject/Discipline: Biotech/ Biochem/ Biomed Sc
Essential Educational Qualification: A first class Master’s Degree in Biotech/Biochem/ Biomed Sc

Number of Fellowships: 4
Subject/Discipline: Chem/ Nanotech
Essential Educational Qualification: A first class Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Nanotechnology

Number of Fellowships: 1
Subject/Discipline: Computer Science/Electronics
Essential Educational Qualification: A first class Master’s Degree/M Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics

Number of Fellowships: 1
Subject/Discipline: Pharma
Essential Educational Qualification: A first class Graduate/Master’s Degree in Pharma

Upper age limit: 28 years for JRF & 35 years for RA as on the last date for receipt of application. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging for (SC/ST candidates is 5 years relaxation, 3 years to OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per Govt rules).  Actual No. of vacancies may vary.

Part A: Guidelines for Research Associate – DRDO
• RA: Tenure: Maximum Two Years Candidates who have submitted their Ph D thesis and attended viva before 31 August 2015 may also apply. However, if selected, the Research Associate ship will be awarded only after the candidate submits the degree or provisional degree certificate.
• Application form can be download from the website www.drdo.gov.in and sent with complete bio-data should reach Director, INMAS, Delhi, within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.  Affix a recent passport size photographs on the right top corner of the first page of application.  Please send a crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs. 10/- drawn in favor of Director, INMAS, Delhi, along with the application. (Candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are exempted from this payment).  Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.
• Candidates will be required to produce certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview. No entry in campus without certificates/testimonials in original.
• Latecomers will not be considered.
• It may please be noted that offer of Fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.
• Candidates should carry photocopy of Application form sent by email with them.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview & on joining.

Part B: Guidelines for JRF with their own valid fellowship
• JRF: Tenure: Maximum Five Years: 2 years as JRF and 3 years as SRF (subject to efficient progress/output). Candidate must have a valid junior research fellowship from CSIR/UGC/DST, etc. (candidates with their own fellowship can only apply).
• Application form can be download from the website www.drdo.gov.in and E-Mailed to   inmaslibrary@inmas.drdo.in. Last date to apply by email is 1700 hrs on 28 August 2015
• Candidate should write Subject and Fellowship agency name in which he/she applying for in subject field of Email.
• Candidates will be required to produce certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview. No entry in campus without certificates/testimonials in original.
• Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
• Confirmation will be sent to short-listed candidates through email only
• Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified.
• Written Test will be conducted for all JRFs from 0930-1030 hrs. and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day
• Latecomers will not be considered.
• It may please be noted that offer of Fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.
• Candidates should carry photocopy of Application form sent by email with them.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview & on joining.
