NER-BPMC has been set up by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, through Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) for development, coordination and monitoring of biotechnology programmes in the North Eastern States of India
Applications are invited for the post of two Senior Consultants under Healthcare and Animal Sciences.
Post: Senior Consultants
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in respective areas i.e. Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharma, Veterinary/Animal Sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of 10 Years of relevant experience in the respective areas preferably in implementing major research programmes.
DESIRABLE: Ph.D. in the respective areas with experience in handling projects in North Eastern Region of India. Those who have recently superannuated would be preferred.
AGE LIMIT: The maximum age limit for applying for the above posts is 66 years as on April 30, 2015.
EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 60,000/- per month and conveyance allowance of Rs. 3,000/- per month.
The above consultancy assignments are contractual, initially for a period of one year with a scope of further extension upto a maximum of 3 years, depending on the performance review.
